   I just got in a 10 month old boy - Was found in the drop room at the local shelter (I always wonder why!!) He is a delight and LOVES people. We called him Mitch. Already I feel he needs an active home with hoping another youthful playmate. My youngest sheltie, Lana, will play outside and they race back and forth around the yard. Ideally a fenced yard will be his best bet to be be able to run and play. Plus he has already deomstrated he can climb my short front fence. Manners are something he needs work with as well. But that all comes with being a puppy. But really they are not too bad. He is not obnoxious, just busy. He seems to know how to sit when told (Hmm someone must have taught him that). He will cuddle on your lap and snuggle (loves to snuggle). Mitch has dug out toys and loves to play with them. He is great with cats (really doesn't bother them just looks at them and no response to the snarl reply). He keeps trying to play with my daughters kitten. As said I think he needs an active home that will do things with him to utilize his energy. Mitch has also been toddler tested with a 3 yr old and that went SUPERB!! He kissed him and played with him and they tugged on toys - But keep in mind my toddler tester is a PRO!! My name is Missy, Originally I was given a number identification, you see I am from a puppy mill farm. I have had many, many puppies, but they were always taken away. I never felt a hug or a head rub or able to cuddle up with someone. I was rescued in August this year and I am learning so much since my placement in my foster home. I have two foster brothers that are teaching me to head out the door when it is opened and go potty…that gets you a treat! Learnign this routine was easy!! I am crate trained and take my meals in my crate and sleep in my crate at night. During the day we all love to stay in the bedroom (I love the big bed) or in the kitchen where all the good food is made. I am getting trained to walk with a leash. I had no idea what they wanted me to do with it, but daily walks are fun. I am spayed and my teeth have been cleaned (oh I had a fefw baddddd teeth), I am doing so good now. I love meeting people and I always get petted when people meet me. I don’t bark, just wag my tail. I also love to go in the yard and go round and round all the bushes. I also found out I can run…I love to run now, jumping over steps. i love to chase my tail. I would love to have a new home with an older person or a couple who would love companionship and who loves to give pats and scratching and cuddles. I am good with children, but I really would love a quiet home and be able to take walks or just run in the yard. I don’t destroy anything and I take treats very nicely from the hand. I live with 2 new brothers, both Shelties and a cat who loves to lay with me on the big bed. I am ready for adoption and I would love to have someone give me a forever home. My name is Autumn, I am about 2 1/2 yrs old - female.  I came in to rescue on 10/31/09.  I was so infested with over 100 ticks that it took my foster mom over 2 hours to clean me up and make me feel better.  I am compassionate and will sofa cuddle with you.  I will paw when you have stopped petting me and ask for more.  I am beginning to show my playful side.  Just give me time.  I do need to be spayed yet hoping to have that done next week.  I am taller then the average sheltie and I do have a shorter coat.  I guess thats just how those PUPPY MILLERS breed (badly - just an opinion).  But I am a sweet heart.  Please E-mail Reignhailrescue@aol.com

My name is Tanner,  I just came in to rescue on 11/3/09.  I will not be ready for a little bit becasue I am so thin.  I weigh about 9 pounds.  So I need to put on weight before I can go to my new home.  I have been neutered and am current of all my vaccines.  So far my personality shows I am sweet boy about 5 yrs old.
Tanner is an energetic little boy.  We are not quite sure of his age, maybe somewhere between 5-8.  He is one that will need a fenced yard and a job to do.  He likes to play and rough house with the other dogs here and will not give up until one of them starts playing.  I am currently trying to put weight on him as he is very underweight, it's a little hard since he loves to run laps around the yard. Shana is an 8 yr old female.  She is the sweetest girl you would want to meet.  She would be a great addition for a retired couple or a single older person looking for a companion.  Her tail always expresses how happy she is.  SHe does not ask for alot of attention, but certainly will not turn down a belly rub if offered.  She is on a diet and could lose about 10 pounds.  She does need to be spayed yet because the vet wanted to have her teeth cleaned first because they yicky and her gums were bad too.  So that will happen soon. Sophie is a 5 yr old blue merle female looking to find a quiet home.  She is a sweetie bug.  She needs seizure medication 2 times a day.  When it is given at the same time as directed she will be seizure free.  The medication is inexpensive.  Daily walks will help her thicker physique becoem thinner.   So can you open your home to this sweet girl.  Please e-mail Reignhailrescue@aol.com to be connected to Sophies foster mom.
